I’m in love! Such a gorgeous, soft brush.I thought some of my other brushes were soft but this deliciously, luscious brush is like soft warm velvet fur that puts product exactly where you need it! Oh and did I mention how soft it is?
I needed a brush I could use for sculpting and blush and I’d wanted one of the Wayne Goss luxury brushes for so long so I jumped in and bought it from Beautylish. (Their customer service and shipping is next to awesome by the way!You can read my review on their customer care here.)
This brush is designed specifically for applying blusher and for contouring. In his video about this brush, Wayne also says its great for applying powder all over the face but I personally think it’s a little small for that and his 00 or 10 brush would be a better option for that. (You can find his video about this brush here.)
The brush is natural hair with a tapered shape that means you can use it sideways for a broader stroke or from the tip for more precise work. You can also use it sideways to pat on powder and with the size of this brush, that works really well to set foundation under the eyes. The hair is natural tapered and not cut to shape and that contributes to it feeling so soft and smooth.
Each of Wayne Goss’s brushes are cruelty free and hand made in Japan and that really shows in their quality. These brushes will last a lifetime if they’re properly taken care of and that’s just as well because they’re not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. This number 02 was $35US from beautylish.com but most makeup lovers will agree that brushes are the tools of the makeup art form and an investment and the superb quality of these brushes makes them worth every penny.
Having fallen in love with this dreamy soft brush (yep, not sure if I mentioned how divinely soft it is), I’ll certainly be getting more from this range.
